1858-C $2.50 Liberty. NGC graded MS-62. Generally well struck with nice golden toning. The imprint that was left by the dies lacks a certain clarity, but it is far sharper for a Charlotte mint quarter of this date or any other date, mark our words. Reddish to tawny-gold in color with grand eye-appeal once you know just how rare this coin is, the surfaces reveal relatively few abrasions. Only 9,056 minted. Pop 10; 1 in 63. (PCGS # 7787) .
