1798 S-170 R3 Small 8, Style II Hair PCGS graded VF35. Slightly glossy olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown toning on the highpoints. There is some crud in protected areas and a few minor contact marks including a pair of very light rim bruises on the left side of the obverse and a nick low on the neck near the drapery. In addition there is a very tiny planchet clip below the 17 and above the second S in STATES. MDS, Breen state II, with light die clashmarks in the field close to the neck but no die crack through the ribbons. Our grade is VF20. Estimated Value $500 - UP
