1938-D Buffalo 5C PCGS MS68. PCGS graded MS-68. This coin is tied with a handful of others as the finest graded of this final year of issue. The Jefferson nickel was soon to make its appearance and most collectors focused on saving that new style. Hence the Buffalo nickels were somewhat ignored in 1938.
