Lot 914

1873-CC. PCGS graded MS-63+. A nice snow white example that displays abundant luster, a typical strike with some central softness, but excellent surfaces that are clean on the obverse. Some minor reverse marks otherwise MS-64. A tough issue when found in any grade of Mint condition, and this one is quite lovely and solidly in the choice category. Rarely seen this nice and a coin that should not be overlooked by serious collectors. This is also the first year of issue of the Trade dollar, and many of these struck at the Carson City and San Francisco Mints were exported as intended to China for trade in the Orient. Here is one that not only survived, but suvived in fantastic condition. Pop 1; 9 finer, 8 in 64, 1 in 65. (PCGS # 7032) Estimated Value $20,000 - 22,000
*This coin contains the COIN WORLD PLUS sticker.
