1797 S-138 R1 Fair-2. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. There are small digs scattered over both sides and the coin is heavily worn. But the date is readable and there is clear evidence of the double strike on the obverse. The first strike was positioned about 10% off center while the second strike was rotated and centered on the planchet. LIBERTY reads LIBERTRTY. The attribution as S-138 is probable but not certain.
