1837 Half Cent Hard Times Token Low-49 Rulau HT-73 Rarity-2 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Very attractive frosty medium brown and light chocolate. Sharply struck and void of any defects. Just a hint of rub on the highest points from mint state. A beautiful example of the only half cent denomination that is part of the popular "Hard Times" token series. Our grade is AU58+, very close to MS60. The attribution is shown on the PCGS label. Often included in collections of our Federal half cent series since no half cents were struck in 1837. Listed on page 95 of the "Redbook."
