Flight Data File Crew Activity Plan STS 51-L For Challenger. STS-51-L Flight Data File Crew Activity Plan completed by Mission Operations Directorate. Activity Plans outline virtually every hour during the mission even detailing when to sleep and eat in order to stay on schedule in executing all the objectives. These plans were all printed on heavy card stock due to zero gravity conditions. This likely the back-up copy for Mission Control. Unfortunately the tragedy at lift off and including the loss of Christa McCauliff in teaching students via broadcast from the shuttle the objectives were never realized. Near to mint condition. Usually these manuals have rings in the pre-punched holes for easy flipping of each page but this manual was ultimately never used on the ground and filed away hence the condition.
