Two 1983 Special Issues from Kennedy Space Center and US Postal Service; Flown Event Cover On Challenger & Souvenir Page $9.35 Stamp. From 1983, NASA and the Kennedy Space Center in coopertion with the US Postal Service issued two commemoratives in August of 1981. First the $9.35 Special Stamp First Day of Issue cancelled August 12, Kennedy Space Center for Express Mail for items up to two pounds. The other is flown Special Event Cover stamped "Launched August 30, 1983" and "Returned September 5, 1983" Both in perfect condition. Estimate Value $100 - UP
