Lot 835

1916-D. PCGS graded MS-66. PQ. Lovely deep blue and gold toning on both sides, likely from long storage in a Kraft or similar envelope for decades. The surfaces are bathed in rich mint luster, subdued only by the gentle toning of the last 105 years. First year of issue, and a delightful example from the Denver Mint. Pop 76; 8 finer, 3 in 66+, 5 in 67. (PCGS # 6567) Estimated Value $2,500 - UP
