1846 N-14 R3 Tall Date, Repunched 1 PCGS graded MS62 Brown, CAC Approved. Choice glossy light to medium chocolate brown and steel. Satiny mint luster shows in the fields and protected areas, and this cent offers outstanding eye appeal. The only notable marks are a string of 5 microscopic pinpricks at the right top of star 5, but it takes a strong glass to see them. EDS, die state a. The repunching at the base of the 1 and the short bar to the left from the left top of the 8 are both clear. Our grade is AU50. The attribution and Iskra provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 4 finer, 1 in 63, 1 in 64, 1 in 64+, 1 in 65 for the variety at PCGS. Estimated Value $300-UP
