1855-S. Arrows. ANACS graded MS-61. Well struck with lovely gold and russet toning on both sides, with a touch of blue intermixed. A very rare coin in UNC grade. In fact this is a true condition rarity in any grade even approaching this level. Out of the original mintage of 129,500 pieces, only 500 or so exist today. This is clearly one of the finest as this date is very challenging to find in any high grade, and mint state pieces are downright rare and rarely offered. PCGS has graded only 2 examples in mint state, 1 in 62, 1 in 64. Seldom seen this nice. Estimated Value $15,000 - UP
