1876 U.S. Centennial Expo, Catholic Version of the See How We Prosper Medal. White metal, 45 mm. Depicting the bust of Pope Pius IX on the obverse, in honor of the catholic visitors to the 1876 Philadelphia U.S. Centennial International Exhibition. The reverse bears the same "See How We Prosper" design as seen on the Washington (Baker-428), French, and German medals. This medal was struck in white metal, bronze, and silver, with the white metal version slightly more common but still rare. Sharpness of UNC Details, scratches and hairlines on the obverse.
