Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 65

Lot 787

1914-D. PCGS graded MS-62 Red & Brown. CAC Approved. Well struck with streaks of mottled toning on the reverse. Immediately noticeable here is the sharp strike on Lincoln's portrait, with hair curls complete. Mintage was low, but few collectors were aware of it at the time, and so most entered circulation. Mint States are elusive at all levels (PCGS # 2472) .
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,400.

Realized $2,588
