1895. PCGS graded Proof 63 Cameo. CAC. PQ. This is the King of the Morgan Dollars. Known only in the Proof format, competition for this date comes from both Morgan dollar collectors as well as Proof date collectors. There's never enough of these to go around, and collectors far and wide are seeking any example of this prized date. The years have proven its rarity and desirability, as unceasing demand is noted when one of these 1895 Morgans becomes available. Here is a particularly attractive coin with rich russet and gold toning on both sides, reflecitve mirror fields, and full satin frost on the devices.
