1820/19 N-2 R2 Overdate Small 20 over 19 PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Frosty dark steel brown and chocolate with lighter steel brown and tan toning in protected areas on the obverse. Mint luster covers the fields and protected areas and this cent offers excellent eye appeal. No spots or stains, just very light friction on the highest points of the devices. The only marks are a couple light nicks between stars 11 & 12 and a small pinprick under the E in UNITED. MDS. Microscopic lumps from fine die rust cover the neck as well as some other places on both sides. The 20/19 overdate feature is clear on both digits. Our grade is AU50+, close to AU55. The attribution and Koshkarian provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 4 finer, 1 in 63, 2 in 64, 1 in 65 for the variety. Estimate Value $2,000 - UP
