Lot 77

1794 S-38 R5 VG8. Glossy tan and light brown on the devices blending to darker olive brown and chocolate in the protected areas. The two-tone appearance accents the devices and adds to the eye appeal. No roughness or verdigris, and the only marks are a rim bruise right of the Y and a tiny one over the second A in AMERICA. MDS. The two chips in the field under the cap are obvious. The date and legends are complete and easily readable and the Single Berry Left of Bow feature is strong. A decent example of this tough variety. Estimated Value $400-UP
