1859. NGC graded Proof 65. Lovely blue and russet toning with deeper hues accenting the devices. Boldly struck on all devices, as expected for a proof, with outstanding surfaces that show careful preservation since the day it was coined. Certainly one of the finer examples of this issue, within the top ten percent of those to survive. A regal gem that will always stand as a numismatic masterpiece in both quality and eye appeal. Only 800 struck. Pop 17; 30 finer at NGC, 22 in regular Proof, 6 in Proof Cameo, 2 in Ultra Cameo. Estimated Value $8,000 - 8,500
