Glazunov, Alexander. Autograph letter signed (A. Glazunov) in Cyrillic script, 1 page, in Russian, on letterhead printed "Director Petrograd Conservatory," Being a recommendation for musician, composer, and conductor Myron Isaakovich Jacobson, saying that he is a talented and educated musician and highly praising him as a composer and performer. "By virtue of his talent and his total dedication to his art he can be of great service to musical affairs in Russia." With a second autograph letter signed (writer unidentified) in Russian with letterhead printed "Inspector Spb [Saint Petersburg] Conservatory," 1912, being an invitation for Jacobson to come to the writer's house. Glazunov was director of the St. Petersburg Conservatory from 1905-1917.
