Partial Lizard Skin and One Complete Foot in 100 Million Year Old Amber. One of the rarest and most desirable of creatures in amber is that of a lizard. This remarkable 19 mm long 75 % of a lizard is encased in a 22 x 12 mm honey colored 100 million year old Burmite amber nugget that clearly shows the skin of the lizard missing the head but including one foot with four toes. Bacterial activity eats away at the lizard body leaving only the skin remaining. Housed in a 8 x 6 inch Riker mount with a closeup picture of the lizard skin and foot. Estimate Value $1,750 - UP
