1794 S-28 R2 VG8+. Slightly sharper but there is a fine scratch from the hair under the ear to the rim before the throat and another short vertical scratch just right of the date. The only other mark is a tiny planchet chip in the field off the end of the nose. Rather glossy dark chocolate brown and olive. The surfaces appear perfectly smooth to the unaided eye but a glass reveals extremely faint granularity hidden under the attractive toning. MDS. The date is strong and the legends are clear except for weakness at ES-OF. Estimated Value $400-UP
