$10 National Bank Note. First NB of Stamford, CT. Ch. 4. Fr. 613. PCGS-C Very Fine 30. While this is the fourth chartered bank in the entire country, it isn't the first in the state, as Charter 2 is in New Haven. This is the finest of four recorded Red Seals, and is actually from the very last sheet of Red Seals issued. This is also the first appearance of a Red Seal since 2006, as those two notes in the same sale haven't been seen since. The signatures are faded away, but when will another be available?
