Finely Crafted Sterling Silver, Short Pedestal Bowl Originally by Cornelius Wynkoop, New York, A Reproduction of Their Bowl Introduced in 1726. Superior reproduction by Graff Washbourne Dunn of a hemispherical bowl originally made in 1726 by Cornelius Wynkoop. The Wynkoop's were a multigenerational family of early American Silversmiths and this design was most likely influenced by similar shaped Chinese porcelain export bowls popular at the time. Bowl appears to have been displayed and never used with only scattered pattern from polish. Measures 5¼ x 10 x 10" and again in excellent condition and absolutely gleams when polished. No engravings or monograms. 35 troy ounces. Estimate Value $500 - UP
