Antique Scottish Snuff Mull, 19th Century. Snuff box made from a ram's horn with silver and agate, about 3" long and 2½" wide. Around the top is "From Messrs Dickson & Turnbull to James Dall, for long & faithfull Service." Wonderful eye appeal. The inhaling of powdered tobacco became common in Europe in the 17th century and was used by both sexes throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. Estimate Value $500 - UP
