$20 National Bank Note. First NB, Reading, MA. Ch. 4488. Fr. 498. PMG Very Fine 20. Chartered in December 1890, this bank immediately began issuing Brown Backs, with over 7500 sheets of Fives and 2900 sheets configured 10-10-10-20. Today this is the only $20 Brown Back known out of the 18 total large notes known. This note last appeared at the 2011 Memphis auction. Estimated Value $1,000 - UP
