Lot 634
1851 N-15 R2 NGC graded MS63 Red & Brown. Lustrous medium bluish steel and olive brown with underlying faded mint red showing through in the fields and protected areas. An attractive cent that shows only a few trivial marks. The notable ones are a speck of carbon over the N in ONE and a light scrape on the top of the N in CENT. Neither mark is visible without the aid of a glass. MDS, die state b early. Numerous short points show on the main and inner curls, and a shallow low spot (caused by debris on the die) covers the neck. Our grade is MS60. Estimate Value $150 - UP
