Lot 581

1818 N-7 R1 PCGS graded MS65 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous golden tan and light olive with several wisps of darker steel brown in the obverse fields, mostly at stars 12 & 13. A speck of crud at the right foot of the R in AMERICA can help identify this cent. LDS with an additional fine die crack from the tip of the coronet through star 5 to the dentils and a small cud break that connects the top of the O in OF to the rim above. A nice cent. Our grade is MS63. Noyes photo #21068. Comes with a great provenance. This coin will be tied for the second finest examples graded at PCGS for the variety once attributed on the label.
