1851 N-31 R3 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. The obverse is lustrous medium steel brown with underlying very faded red showing in protected areas and light bluish steel overtones. The reverse is a lighter shade of golden tan and light brown. No spots or stains. The notable marks are a dull vertical nick in the center of the neck and a dull nick on the truncation over the right side of the 8. Sharply struck E-MDS, die state a. Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#6 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; none finer at PCGS for the variety. Estimate Value $500 - UP
