1818 N-1 R2 AU50+. Lustrous steel brown and chocolate with peeps of golden tan in protected areas on the reverse. A beautiful cent, satiny and virtually flawless with mint state eye appeal in spite of touch of rub on the highest points of the devices. MDS showing fine radial die flowlines in the fields and tiny rim crumbles near star 4. The obverse is slightly misaligned to K-10 while the reverse is properly aligned on the planchet. Near the lower end of the condition census for this variety. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS62BN (NGC label #1667675-015 included). Estimated Value $700 - UP
