Antique Belgian Flintlock Gentleman's Pistol, circa 1780. This pistol has a 8.5".62 calibre octagon to round iron barrel with a Belgian proof mark; "CROWN over R". It is silver plated, or has low grade German silver furniture. The entry ram rod is an iron period replacement. The stock is sound with nice period checkering on the wrist and normal scratches and dings throughout. The pistol has a wonderful untouched dark patina and is in good working order.
