Lot 530

1852 N-4 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous medium steel brown and chocolate with traces of underlying mellowed mint red showing on both sides. A very attractive cent. The only mark is a faint diagonal hairline up to the left from the upper right point of star 1, and you will need a good glass to see it. M-LDS, die state b late. The fields are covered with radial die flowlines and the reverse is cracked. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Tucker provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 1 finer in 66 for the variety. Estimate Value $400 - UP
