ASTP, 1975, FLOWN Manned Flight Awareness Medallions & Certificates, Lot of four similar medallions and matching certificates. These medallions "contains metal ffom both Apollo and Soyuz that joined together in the first International Manned Space Mission on July 15-24, 1975". The medallions can be attached to the multicolor, bilingual certificates (11x14"). These units were given to contract employees as a thank you for the work they did in making the flight a success. While the medallions are sometimes available, the cerificatres are much rarer due to their size. Attractive with minor rubs and dings on some certificates. Similar units resalized about $150 each in our last sale.
