1879-CC. Capped die. PCGS graded MS-64. A nice frosty white coin. The surfaces are fresh and attractive, and push toward the gem grade. While the Capped Die variety is sometimes discounted, this one shows mintmark sharp and clear. The rarity of the 1879-CC Morgan dollar is legendary, and this is one of the toughest CC issues to find at all.
