1846 N-1 R1 Repunched 18 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Glossy medium chocolate brown and steel with about 10% of the reverse showing mint red. Looks mint state but there is a hint of rub on the highest points at the ear. The only mark is a thin diagonal nick close off the peak of the 1. E-MDS. Die state b. The die cracks are light and the fields are hard and very slightly prooflike. The repunching at the bottoms of the 1 & 8 is clear. Our grade is AU58+, very close to MS60. The attribution and Tucker provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 4 finer in 64 for the variety. Estimate Value $400 - UP
