Lot 478

1850 N-2 R1 MS63. Lustrous light to medium steel brown with very subtle overtones of light bluish steel. Hints of very faded mint red show in a couple places on the reverse and this cent has great eye appeal. No notable defects, essentially flawless. A very tiny rim nick at star 1 may help identify this cent. E-MDS, die state b. Many die lines are visible on both sides along with die clashmarks, but there are no cracks on the reverse. Removed from a PCGS slab graded MS64BN (PCGS label #1889.64/21536735 included). Estimate Value $700 - UP
Ex Tom Reynolds 4/2016.
