Lot 469

1848 N-13 R4 PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Frosty medium brown and light chocolate. A sharp, attractive cent, but there are some tiny nicks scattered over the obverse, mostly on the portrait, and both sides have soft dirt caked into the protected areas. Needs a bath. A small nick on the nose and another on the front edge of the neck may help identify this cent. MDS, die state a, before the cud break at the top of the reverse. Our grade is AU50 sharpness net EF45. (The front of the slab is badly scratched.). Estimate Value $300 - UP
