1793 S-10 R4 Wreath Cent with Vine & Bars Edge F12. Sharpness VF35 but the toning is dark olive and chocolate brown, and extremely fine granularity covers all but the highpoints, which are smooth. No verdigris but there is an old scratch from the field under the chin to the throat. MDS, Breen state I late, with a narrow rim cud over NITE and obvious die failure in the border beads before the face. The date and legends are complete and bold. Removed from an NGC slab graded XF Details Damaged (NGC label #3216484-009 included and it shows the attribution). Estimate Value $3,000 - UP
