(1792-1794) Kentucky Halfpence Token with Blundered Edge Letters Breen-1157 AU50. Choice glossy medium brown and chocolate. Flawless except for some tiny planchet fissures at the top and bottom of the reverse (the pyramid side). Excellent eye appeal. The edge letters are blundered and less than half of them made it onto the planchet. The edge should read PAYABLE IN LANCASTER LONDON OR BRISTOL but only BLE IN LANCA and a stray L made it to this one. Breen mentions that this variety rarely comes with edge blunders from slippage. Well, this is a good example. Weight 155.7 grains.
