1794 S-54 R3 Head of 1794 PCGS graded VF35. Partly glossy dark steel brown and olive with lighter steel brown and chocolate toning on the devices. The highpoints are smooth while the fields and protected areas show microscopic granularity under magnification. No marks or verdigris. MDS, Breen state III, with die clashmarks on both sides. Graded VF25 net F12 in the Noyes census, his photo #28470. Our grade is net F15+. The attribution and Matthews-Morley provenance are noted on the PCGS label. Estimate Value $3,000 - UP
