1871 Quarter Dollar Octagonal. Liberty Head. . BG-766. High Rarity 7. PCGS graded MS-64. The plate coin in the Breen-Gillio book in addition to being the plate coin for Doering. A remarkable example of this very rare variety with brilliant prooflike luster and a hint of light toning. Only 3 coins in total have been graded by PCGS with this being the Finest Graded Pop 1, none finer. (PCGS # 10593) .
