1882. NGC graded Proof 67 Cameo. Boldly struck and a fully white gem cameo proof, and this is one of the absolute finest known today. The fields are sparkling and bright, while the frosty devices show unbroken purity as imparted by the mint dies. A most elegant example of this issue, with fantastic, unending eye appeal. No signs of toning here, and this coin looks just about the same as it did when struck 138 years ago. Only 1,100 struck. Pop 7; 5 finer for Proof Cameo, 1 in 67 Star, 3 in 68, 1 in 68+ Star.
