Honorius, 393-423 AD. Gold Tremissis (1.49 g), Constantinople, struck 403-408 AD. Very Rare (R-5)!!! Bust right, draped and cuirassed, with pearl diadem. Reverse: Victory advancing frontal, head to left, holding wreath and globus cruciger, star at right; VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM / CONOB. RIC 35; MIRB 46. Sharp, excellent strike. Brightly lustrous, with toned recesses. With very fine quality portrait for series. Superb, Nearly Mint State.
