France. 500 Francs, 1941-43. Pk 95b. A France Banknote, Banque de France, black serial number V.5919 613. This oversized note is a prime example of supreme quality maintained for several decades! Perfect margins on extremely crisp white paper is evidently noticeable through the holder. Embossing is clearly seen in every aspect of the note, creating paper waves visible through the holder. Three signatures on the front side. Lovely pastel colors on this great banknote. Green, lilac and multicolor. Pax with wreath at left. On the reverse side is a man and woman at right.
