Hadrian, 117-138 AD. AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm (10.24 g), Nicomedia, c. 128-132 AD. Laureate and draped bust right. Reverse: Facade of octastyle temple; COM - BIT. Metcalf, Cistophori, type B3, fig. 13 (same dies); RIC 461c; RSC 240. Finely centered on quite round flan. Excellent portrait style. Toned. Very Fine.
