Egypt. 1 Pound, 1930-48. Pk 22s. An Egypt Specimen Banknote, National Bank, black serial number J/51 000000. Large sized note with excellent quality, having an appearance of a higher grade. Although slightly circulated, embossing and crispness remain intact. This note was impressed on March 16, 1942 and on the top margin it is observed that the March 17, 1942 is written by hand. Exceptional use of color! Portrait Tutankhamen in brown at right. Mosque at center seen on the reverse side. Watermark of Sphinx. Rare note, only one gem ever recorded. PMG 64 Choice Unc.
