Cape Verde. 1000 Escudos, 1977. Pk 56s. A Cape Verde Specimen Banknote, black serial number A/1 000000 0760. Great example of a gem note with nearly impeccable margins! This note features strong colors on crisp paper. Deep embossing is seen through the plastic holder. Electrical appliances at left. Workers at quarry at left center, banana stalk at right on reverse side. Overprint: ESPECIMEN on both sides. Punch hole cancelled. A. Cabral with native hat at right and as watermark.
