Pontic Kingdom. Mithradates VI, 120-63 BC. Gold Stater (8.31 g) minted in the type of Lysimachus, c. 88-86 BC at Byzantion. Head right of the deified Alexander the Great wearing the horn of Ammon above ear. Reverse: Athena Nikephoros enthroned left; mintmark on throne; beneath, trident. SNG Cop 1087; Müller 150. Wavy flan with some marks, especially on reverse. NGC graded Extremely Fine; Strike 5/5; Surface 2/5 .
