1822 Capped Bust Quarter Dollar. AU-55 semi prooflike. Bright and untoned, with reflective fields. Boldly struck by the dies, with complete curls on Liberty, but the stars all show weak centers. These early quarters have just started to come into their own, after years of languishing, several new variety books are being published, and these will continue to generate more interest in this intriguing series.
