1820/19 N-1 Large Overdate 20 over 19 PCGS graded AU58. Frosty dark bluish steel and olive with faint suggestions of very faded mint color in a few protected places around the wreath. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas and this cent offers mint state eye appeal in spite of light friction on the highpoints. Nearly flawless; the best identifying feature is a minor planchet clip that affects the dentils from star 2 to star 3 and the opposing ones over ST in STATES. MDS. The repunching on the 1 is gone and it is weak on the 8, but the 2 over 1 feature is obvious. Our grade is AU50. The attribution and Heard provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
