1817 N-16 R1 15-Star Obverse EF45. Sharper by at least 5 points but there are some very light contact marks around ONE CENT and a light rim bruise at the F in OF. Otherwise this piece is choice and the eye appeal remains excellent. Glossy chocolate brown with frosty luster in the protected areas on both sides. Sharply struck EDS before the small cud break formed in the dentils at AM in AMERICA. A nice example of the popular 15-Star Obverse variety. Estimated Value $500-UP
