1838 N-2 R1 PCGS graded XF45. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The surfaces are smooth and free of notable marks, but a glass reveals traces of very fine verdigris in protected places on the reverse. LDS with flowlined fields and weakened dentils on both sides. The doubled center dot on the reverse is still bold. Our grade is net VF35. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 5 finer: 1 in 50, 1 in 62, 2 in 63, 1 in 64+. PCGS #37183. Pop 3; 9 graded higher at PCGS for the variety, 5 in MSBN, 4 in MSRB. Estimated Value $100 - UP
